The SCRI Vision & Strategy that has served the centre well for the first 5 years of its existence has been revised following visioning work and consultations in 2006. The work of the steering committee and management committee in this regard has ensured that SCRI’s revised vision and strategy for 2007-11 addresses the following criteria:
- Actively engaging with the agendas of the international and national academic and industrial communities so creating sustainable strategic alignment
- In this context, addressing selected research areas in which SCRI has international intellectual leadership
- So achieving maximum academic and industry impact.
